Welcome to the Babbacombe Ukulele Strummers website<\/strong><\/h1>\n

We are a group of ukulele loving folk who meet on a Monday to sing, play and learn the ukulele.\u00a0 We welcome people of all ages and abilities \u2013 come along and join the fun!\u00a0 <\/strong>Check out the About Us & Joining<\/a> page to see how to do this.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Within our capacity to perform and entertain in public, everyone is encouraged to play and sing in the group at their own current level.<\/p>\n

Regular sessions are held most Mondays at the Babbacombe Corinthian Sailing Club in St Marychurch from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. The next session is on Monday 25th May 2026.\u00a0 <\/strong>For further details see the Diary<\/em><\/strong> at the top of this page (or near the bottom of the page if you are viewing on a mobile phone).<\/p>\n

Beginners Course<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0of 6 x 1 hour sessions to support you do just that.<\/h1>\n

After which you continue to learn to play at the Babbacombe Ukulele Strummers Monday sessions, or earlier if you feel ready.<\/p>\n

The course is held at the Babbacombe Corinthian Sailing Club and scheduled on demand. The cost for a Beginners Course<\/strong> of 6 sessions is \u00a324.<\/p>\n

With effect from 22nd August 2022, the Babbacombe Ukulele Strummers Covid Policy is discontinued, being no longer appropriate for the current Covid situation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

However, the Babbacombe Ukulele Strummers still asks that anyone testing positive for Covid does not attend any of our activities.<\/p>\n
