Welcome to the Babbacombe Ukulele Strummers website

We are a group of ukulele loving folk who meet each week to sing, play and learn the ukulele.  We welcome people of all ages and abilities – come along and join the fun!  Check out our Joining page to see how to do this.

Within our capacity to perform and entertain in public, everyone is encouraged to play and sing in the group at their own current level.

Weekly meetings are held at The Precinct Centre In St Marychurch, on a Monday, 7-9pm.

On 27th September 2021 Babbacombe Ukulele Strummers (BUS) held their first Regular Monday session since March 2020, and a busy and enjoyable session it was too.

During this session members discussed the BUS approach to holding Regular Sessions in the current Covid environment.  The results of this discussion are documented in the Babbacombe Ukulele Strummers Covid Policy.  The policy can be found on this website by clicking here, it is can also be found from the drop-down menu under the ‘About Us’ tab above.

All Babbacombe Ukulele Strummers members and guests need to comply with this Policy when they attend a session, so it is very important for you to read it before coming to one.  It is understood people may have different views on living with Covid, but BUS feels that the approach in the policy is currently the most appropriate for our group.

Hope you can make the next Regular Session
